The Fill-In Boyfried by Kasie West

This is my first Kasie West book and I already loved her writing style so much. Yeah, this book is standard YA plot and there's nothing extraordinary about the story. Somehow, I couldn't put it down. Kasie managed to deliver her story with fluffy and cuteness. I didn't like Gia at the beginning, she was ignorant and only cared about others opinion about her on social media. But she grew on me, deep down, she has a good heart.
I despise Drew action without having Gia's permission, but I found his word is truly relatable.

One down side from this book is the ending, I felt like the ending is a bit rush. I don't realize it was the ending until when I go to the next page, it's an acknowledgments page.
I was like, "Whoa, wait a second, that's it??? It finished already? Where's the epilogue? What will happen next with Claire and their roommate arrangement thing and the other stuff? What about her brother and her parent??" *sigh*
Anyway, despite my disappointment about the ending, I'm still in love with this book. Well, mostly because of Hayden. ;)

I recommend this book if you are a fan of Stephanie Perkins and Jenny Han.

How is self-worth measured today? By a number of likes a post gets, by how many friends we collect, by how many retweets we accumulate? Do we even know what we really think until we post our thoughts online and let others tell us if they are worthy?

Rating 4/5 cute stars
