Nimona by Noelle Stevenson Review

This is my first experience of graphic novel. I read a lot of Japanese Manga when I was in school but never had an interest on western comic.
So I don't know what to expect from Nimona.
I jumped into Nimona because I heard so many wonderful reviews about this.
Nimona basically told us about a young shapeshifter girl who hired by the greatest villain ever, Lord Ballister Blackheart.
Turns out Ballister has a good side of his heart as well. He is a villain who fighting against the Institution in order to save commoner villagers. He wanted them to open their eyes that the Institution is not their hero.
Then, there is Sir Goldenloin, Ballister's former best friend who is also the famous Instituion's hero. I adore Ballister and Goldenloin love-and-hate relationship around the story, both of them are cute!
Nimona has a good story, it has a LoL, heartfelt, and a sad moment and I absolutely love the ending.
Weakness point: Maybe it was just me because I used to read Japanese manga, but I couldn't adore Nimona's art like everyone else.

No, she's not Goldenloin, because she is....

Rating 3/5 stars
