Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon Review

Maybe we can't predict everything, but we can predict somethings. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly.
This book started well.
Like another cliche teenage drama when you found yourself intrigued with a new boy you just met.
You exchanged emails with him, IMs him every night, wanted to meet up personally and after the separation, you got despair thinking when would you meet with him again.
There's nothing special about it, except Maddie, eighteen years old, got an extremely rare disease. She couldn't leave her house for seventeen years because of she allergic to the world itself.

What would you do if you found yourself wanting everything you can't have? Go for it even if you know you will regret it later?
Well, Maddie made a harsh decision because she felt she can't go back to her old self, before 'the boy came to her life' stage.
I found myself disagreeing with her decision a lot. Her impulsive decision made me feel uneasy.
There were a lot of what ifs and I personally think she really a selfish girl. Even if this decision was a turning point for this story, I just couldn't connect with her.

And I was really disappointed with the twist and ending. The twist was just... unbelievable? I was hoping that there's much more than that. I'm sorry but the twist ruining the whole story and I think Maddie still a selfish girl until the end of this book which really annoyed me.
Even sad ending would be better than this kind of ending.

Prom.ise 1. The lie you want to keep [2015, Whittier]

Rating 2.5/5 healthy stars. I'm sorry, I'm the black sheep.
